Objective
Smuchie sells one product: shorts that work the muscles through electrical stimulation. One product means the whole store is a single page, and that page has to hold the size choice, three sets, an explanation of how it works, and answers to the questions that make a buyer hesitate.
The second condition was reach: the same store had to work in five countries, each with its own currency and its own delivery promise, with prices and policies held in one place so the page cannot promise what the checkout does not deliver.
Results
The store runs on Shopify headless: products, prices, policies and orders live in Shopify, while the front end is written by hand, with no theme and no framework. Policy text is requested from Shopify at render time, so the page cannot state a different promise from the one the buyer sees at checkout.
Each market has its own round prices rather than converted ones, and the country is recognised at the network edge before the page loads, so a buyer in the United Kingdom never sees dollars. Checkout runs on checkout.smuchie.com, so the buyer stays inside the brand.
The store launched on 30 October 2026. The figures below are our own Lighthouse run on a phone profile, measured on 3 November 2026.
